At Dandy Paws, we understand that life happens—sometimes things come up that are out of your control. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations. This helps keep our schedule on track and fair for all clients.
- With 24+ hours’ notice:
No fee will be charged. If you’ve prepaid, your walk can be rescheduled or refunded—whichever you prefer. - Less than 24 hours’ notice:
The full walk fee will apply, as that time has been reserved for your pup.
Weather Policy
Your dog’s well-being is our top priority. We walk in most weather, including light rain, but will adjust plans when conditions may pose a risk.
- Heat (23°C and above):
Walks will be shortened or cancelled in high temperatures. If your dog has any health concerns in warm weather, even below 25°C, please let us know in advance. This way, we can adjust suitably. - Severe Weather Alerts:
Walks will be cancelled if there are official weather warnings. This includes conditions like thunderstorms, high winds, or icy conditions. - Rain:
Light or steady rain? We’re still walking! But in cases of extreme weather, like storm warnings or flooding, walks be cancelled.
In Case of a Weather Cancellation:
If a walk needs to be cancelled due to weather, we will automatically schedule a drop-in visit. This ensures a quick check-in, potty break, and a little playtime. This way, your pup still gets care and attention.
